initiated and organized by Mahony Collective in collaboration with Irene de Craen, Season Butler, Judith Lavagna, Leo Zhao, Ezequiel Monteros, Mano Leirado, Luz Peuscovich u.a. 2018 - 2020.

In June 2018 we started the project Common Place with a four-day exchange of meals and ideas. Until 2020, when we had to leave the project house, Common Place became a fluid community working in different fields of creative, social, material and critical practice, trying to create an environment to nurture art and ideas engaged with society, philosophy and lived experience. The project was shaped by a shared interest in new formats for creation, development and exchange, grounded in a decolonial approach, knowledge exchange and active un-learning across disciplines.
